Faithfulness
Faithfulness - acrylic on canvas, 12 x 12 inches
God gave me this painting early one morning. Sometimes He does that. :) I don't work in red much, but it reminds me so much of the Lord's love and faithfulness.
The first thing I see when I look at this painting is, Christ on one side of a barrier and a soul on the otherside. It looks to me as if he is asking the soul to have the faith to cross over the barrier without fully knowing what lies on the other side.
hi, i have only just seen this and i think it is awesome. it reminds me of a quote:
"Yes, the highest things are beyond words. That is probably why all art aspires to the condition of wordlessness. When literature works on you, it does so in silence, in your dreams, in your wordless moments. Good words enter you and become moods, become the quiet fabric of your being. Like music, like painting, literature too wants to transcend its primary condition and become something higher. Art wants to move into silence, into the emotional and spiritual conditions of the world. Statues become melodies, melodies become yearnings, yearnings become actions."

I have been painting for 20 years. After a prophecy in Brazil, I explored painting during worship, explored a new style and have been blessed in this new adventure!
These paintings have been done during worship, either personal or corporate. Some are prophetic, others are what the Lord is giving to me while in His presence and painted later.
Owners say that they change the atmosphere wherever they are displayed.

I love this one! It is rich and full of life. The colors are stimulating and leave me feeling warm and empowered.
